He has won the Swedish middleweight boxing championships twice. But Sweden-based Ugandan pugilist Jibril Katende’s first love is music.

Katende has quit the ring and spends much of his time doing jigs with Julian Marley (a son of the reggae legend Bob Marley) and other Jamaican stars.

He has also turned to spinning discs at his Stockholm-based discotheque, H62 and promoting local artistes in Europe. Katende plays Reggae, Ragga and Luganda vibes in his club.
